Customer ID Missing

I recently had received a "Root Element Missing" error that caused some pplx files to become corrupted. After adding the uncorrupted files back to a new LD, there is an issue with one of the "once" corrupted poles in Portal. I am unable to check In/Out the pole and are prompted with an new error message "Customer ID Missing" 😢

It sounds like you have several different errors here. First lets try and get this pole into portal and then address what caused the errors. 

 

Instead of importing your local file into a line design and then trying to check that in, just open the file that has the uncorrupted data and try checking in just that file.

 

If that does not work, we can go through additional options to load this pole into portal, but that will most likely require your supervisor to make some changes to the file (regular technicians do not have the ability to adjust customer data as it could overwrite work in other customers) and/or some help from the portal team to change some data in portal directly.
